Wall – Cavity
Better Energy Homes
The insulation of external walls will provide considerable energy savings.

This must be done by a contractor, and involves blowing or pumping the insulation into the cavity through holes drilled in the outer surface. However, the contractor should always conduct an assessment of the cavity and the condition of the walls internally and externally to ensure the walls are suitable for insulating within the cavity as there are certain conditions that may preclude this or may require some works to be done before the installation of the insulation.
